Business After Hours Jan. 15 |
 Take the first step to improving your business in 2013. Join us for a Business After Hours sponsored by the Extreme Networking Group I on Jan. 15 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The cost is $5 for members and $10 for non-members. The event will be held at Dean College, Campus Center Dining Hall, 99 Main St., Franklin. Parking is available in a lot next to the Campus Center and is accessible via Main Street and Route 140. Cathleen DeSimone has been appointed the new Adult Basic Education (ABE) Program Director at Bristol Community College, Attleboro Campus. The ABE program at BCC Attleboro offers free adult basic education and GED classes to persons in the Attleboro who are un- or under-employed and are seeking to improve their reading, writing, math, and computer skills in order to improve their employment opportunities. ABE also meets with business owners to discuss the particular educational/instructional needs of their current and potential employees.

Happenings at La Salette Shrine

This time of year is always special at The National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette in Attleboro. The Shrine has published a calendar of events and a schedule of concerts during the holiday season. La Salette's famous Festival of Lights will run through Jan. 6, 2013.
