About KDT's "Behind the Curtain" Open Studio Series
Kaha:wi Dance Theatre's "Behind the Curtain" open studio series brings audiences in touch with the dance/theatre rehearsal process and Santee Smith's work in an intimate way. This "backstage access" allows an informal atmosphere that encourages dialogue between audiences and artists. Artists are able to receive direct feedback from their viewers and learn how to verbally articulate their work.
