NSAC & Dalhousie Merger Discussion - Survey

As merger discussions between NSAC, the Province of Nova Scotia and Dalhousie University continue, we want to keep you informed, as well as hear your input and perspective. Within the next week, we will be distributing a merger update via email, along with a brief online survey.
This survey will take three to five minutes to complete. We hope you will take the time to respond.
Results will be used by NSAC and the Alumni Association to help us inform those directly involved with the negotiations, of the feelings and concerns of alumni.

The Future of Conventional Battery Cages in Egg Production Discussed at NSAC

An open meeting entitled, "Is there a Future for Battery Cages in Canada?" was held last month at NSAC.
The meeting examined the pros and cons of cages for egg production particularly from an animal welfare point of view. The various alternative husbandry systems available for egg production was described together with their strengths and weaknesses.
