Blue & Gold Award Nominations
Blue & Gold Awards recognize NSAC alumni for their exceptional achievements in the areas of volunteerism and contribution to the agricultural industry. Each year, NSAC presents three very deserving alumni with these honours.
If you would like to nominate someone for a Blue & Gold Award, please submit the name, address and phone number of your nominee for one of the awards to:
NSAC, Development & External Relations Office, Box 550, Truro, N.S. B2N 5E3 no later than May 30. Nominations can also be submitted to alumni@nsac.ca or via Fax (902-897-9399).
Attach a brief biographical sketch of the nominee, clearly outlining the contributions which qualify him/her as a candidate for the award. You may also use the on-line nomination form.

NSAC's Alumni Association Annual Meeting
The annual general meeting of NSAC's Alumni Association will be held on Friday, June 24th. The meeting will begin at 12:30pm, in the CA Douglas Room, Cumming Hall.
All alumni are welcome to attend. |

Farming Opportunities for African Nova Scotians
Supporting and encouraging African Nova Scotians interested in farming was the focus of Growing Local: New Opportunities in Nova Scotia Agriculture, a two-day conference that took place at NSAC in April.
Growing Local focused on sharing ideas and experiences and bringing together the tools needed to start or grow a farm or agri-business. Topics included idea generation, business start-up and new ways of producing food. Participants met a successful new farmer and took part in tours and activities. More...

Local Alumni Divot & Dine
 Mark you calendars for Friday, June 17th!
NSAC's Alumni Association is planning another Divot & Dine for local alumni at River Run Golf Club, North River. Gather your team of four or register as an individual. Tee times will be given to groups of four, every ten minutes from 4 - 6pm.
A BBQ and prizes will follow this fun game!
Alumni class teams are encouraged to sign-up. Let's see how many classes we can have represented!
