Beck and Fulton take on new Roles with the Canadian Young Farmers Forum
Justin Beck (Class of '08), of North Kingston, NS, was elected earler this month as the new chairman of the Canadian Young Farmers Forum.
Heather Fulton (Class of '03), of Stewiacke, NS, replaces Beck's previous role as NS/NL director on the CYFF. More... |

Come Ski With Us!
 Calling all NSAC alumni in Alberta:
NSAC alumni are gathering for a day on the slopes in Lake Louise, Alberta on Sunday, March 13th. If you are interested in this alumni event contact Alisha at alumni@nsac.ca or 902-893-6022. Families are also welcome.
A non-skiing evening will follow for those who do not ski. Please also contact Alisha if you are interested.

NSAC Delivered Educational Component of Unique Farm Apprenticeship Program
NSAC presented certificates of achievement to the first class of a new farm technician apprenticeship program in PEI last week.
Developed in consultation with the PEI Trade Advisory Committee, this one-of-a-kind, three-year program combines classroom learning with on-farm experience, earning students a Certificate of Qualification in Farm Technician by the PEI Apprenticeship Section. More...

Bookbag to Briefcase Workshop
Earlier this week, NSAC students had an opportunity to participate in a unique workshop hosted by the Development & External Relations office, as well as Enrollment Management.
The Bookbag to Briefcase workshop including a resume building component, networking and a dining etiquette session, complete with a formal dinner. A 'dress for success' fashion show, compliments of Elegant Steps and Sandy's Fashion for Men, concluded the evening.
