Notes from the Nutritionist
Greetings!
I'm Tina, Registered Dietitian, author and wellness coach.
Welcome to your very first edition of The Gourmet Baby, a newsletter I created to help busy moms and doting dads give their new baby the best start in life, one lovin' spoonful at a time.
While there's lots of information on the web about infant and toddler nutrition, you can rely on The Gourmet Baby as a source for quality articles, useful insights and credible resources. Each month I'll:
- dish up easy, time-saving recipes for infants and toddlers (along with easy, week-night dinner solutions for mommy!);
- discuss what it takes to keep a family healthy in mind, body and spirit;
- provide simple yet effective tips for re-claiming your
pre-baby body; - clarify and simplify the latest buzz about health and
nutrition, and - host fun contests where parents (or grandparents!) can
show off their pride and joy, winning some terrific goodies in the process!
By signing up for this newsletter, you'll also get VIP access to my much anticipated book, The Best Homemade Baby Food On The Planet which features more than 200
delicious, wholesome and natural baby food recipes along with guidance
that takes the guesswork out of cooking for baby. You can also follow
me on Twitter (@Tina_Ruggiero) for a chance to win a free copy!
Last, don't forget to encourage other parents to subscribe for the most up-to-date information on infant and toddler nutrition, health and wellness.
Delicious wishes,
Tina |

FAST FACTS
Aerophagia (AIR-o-fay-gee-ah) An infant who takes in lots of air during breast or bottle feeding is likely to spit up or burp and experience discomfort. What to do? Feed your little one as soon as she shows signs of hunger and before she starts to cry at length. Holding your baby at an angle will help minimize air inhalation, too. |
