Virginia Sports Hall of Fame Student-Athlete Achievement Awards Nominations Due

Honoring student athletes, grades 6-12, that are dedicated to their sport, committed to their academics, and involed in their community!
The Virginia Sports Hall of Fame is seeking nominations for the sixth annual Student Achievement Awards.
On December 5, the Hall of Fame will host a dinner honoring 16 young people who represent the finest in student-athletes-dedicated on the field to their sport and off the field to their community. At the ceremony, one boy and one girl from each category, grades 6-8 and 9-12 will be selected to receive the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame Student-Athlete Acheivement Award, and will be featured in a display at the Hall of Fame during January and February 2011.

Parents of finalists will be contacted by Friday, November 12. (If nominator is not finalist's parent, he/she will be notified as well.) Employees and/or children of employees of the Hall of Fame or event sponsors are not eligible, nor are previous winners of this award.
