O God, without whose blessing we are not able to please you, mercifully grant that your Holy Spirit may in all things direct and govern our heats; through Jesus Christ, your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.

Thank you.

Rev. Dr. Glenn E. Schaeffer

1 Timothy 6:12

http://goandmake.ca

Dear Saviour of the nations.  You are merciful and gracious to all. All the people of this world are saturated by Your love.  And yet, millions of people do not confess with their mouths or believe in their hearts that You are their Saviour.  O Lord Jesus Christ, send Your Holy Spirit to open the hardened hearts of those who do not believe so that they might "live a life worthy of the Lord and may please You in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God." (Col. 1:10) To that end, may the efforts of Your followers bear much fruit as they "plant the seed" and "water" it trusting that You will be the One who brings people to faith in You.  We thank You for blessing the Regional Outreach Conference in Vancouver.  We pray that all the people who participated in the conference were encouraged by Your Word and equipped to share Your Word of life with others. We thank You for the partnership in the Gospel we have with Lutheran Hour Ministries who helped organize and sponsor this outreach conference.  Continue to prosper their outreach efforts and especially the other Regional Outreach Conferences planned for this year and next.  Lord Jesus Christ, we raise our voices with the angels and archangels and all the saints in heaven and proclaim, "Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honour and glory and praise ... for ever and ever!" (Rev. 5:12, 13)  Amen!

Gregory Seltz, Speaker of The Lutheran Hour, and Dr. Robert Newton will present a number of keynote addresses focused on living as a Christian in a post-church culture. Eighteen different witness workshops will be offered on Saturday afternoon. Each workshop will help provide you with practical ideas as to how to share your Christian faith as an individual and/or as a congregation in various contexts.  Registration for the 1 ½ day event is $89.00 (which includes a lunch and supper on Saturday).  To register for ROC-Vancouver, click here.

Youth and children are encouraged to attend the Friday evening activities, but then on Saturday, they will have programs tailored to their needs and interests.

Children will have a day-long program geared to them as well on Saturday.
