Mission Prayer ( August 28 )
http://www.lutheranchurch.ca/missions.php
Holy God, You gave Your life for us. We confess our reluctance to give our lives fully to You in response to Your great love for us. Teach us and help us to follow You in reaching out to the people of Canada through the work, ministries, and congregations of Lutheran Church-Canada. Bless our work together as a Synod walking together, following You, touching the lives of people all around us, in the name of Christ our Lord.

Synod has noticed an increase of traffic to their congregational listings since the ELCIC decisions last month. Just a reminder of the need to keep your website current as potential visitors are checking you out online before arriving at your front door! If you don't have a website but are interested in getting some online presence you can check out sites like wordpress or weebly for free webpages. Updates to Go!
As a result of Christ's life and death, I am saved by God's grace through faith! I stand justified before God! As the amazing reality of this message impacted me, a voice within me shouted, "I have to tell other people about Christ!" These are the words of Kelti Malone, missionary to NE Edmonton and Christian musician.
Visit: http://goandmake.ca to read the rest of Kelti's interview with Dr. Schaeffer. Kelti shares her thoughts about the Lord's mission and how the Lord is using her to direct people's hearts and minds to Jesus Christ! |
