Always Exciting Jewelry
Anne Marie ChagnonQuirky, sophisticated and always surprising jewelry by Anne Marie Chagnon. A Graduate of Fine Arts of the Université du Québec à Montréal, Anne-Marie creates her sculptures inside a constant research of asymmetric equilibrium. The jewelery reflects the creator, at once eccentric and aethestic, intriguing and seductive. Her pieces are made from fine pewter, glass and pvc. "From as far as I can remember, I always loved making all sorts of objects. As a child, I recycled my mom's jewels, making new ones by welding them with my dad's tools. Today the materials have changed but the passion has remained intact, whole and bold." We have a wonderful selection of Anne Marie's pieces. Click here to see more!Ann AllenSterling silver, with 14 kt gold components and colored gemstones, Ann Allen's jewelry is always a favorite.
Ann Allen Jewelry is a collaboration of jewelry designers Ann Allen and Mary Winstead. Ann Allen is a gold and silversmith with a B.F.A. from Brooklyn College, Brooklyn, New York and a Masters in Metalsmithing from SUNY New Paltz at New Paltz, New York. Mary Winstead, silversmith, holds her B.A. from Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Her Masters degree and Doctorate degree in Urban Studies are from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana. Both artists worked in the field of social work before making the decision that creating jewelry was the medium that they wished to use to express their creative selves. This year starts their thirty-second year creating jewelry. Click here to see more!
Jim Mullan Steampunk is the word most people characterize Jim Mullan's jewelry as.
What's tha t you say? It is kind of hard to define but here's a shot at it. Steampunk is a subgenre of speculative fiction, usually set in an anachronistic Victorian or quasi-Victorian alternate history setting. It could be described by the slogan "What the past would look like if the future had happened sooner." Jewelry and sculpture in this genre usually has gears, watch part and other objects thrown in.
Jim and his wife Tori also create the wonderful bird sculptures that we carry! Always a source for conversation in our gallery.
