An Education Day in America's heartland

Indianapolis is the place to be on October 15, 2011

Indianapolis_Education_DayFall just became more interesting in Indianapolis. In addition to the city's Circle Centre Mall and urban parks, one can enjoy a very informative Alpha-1 Education day!

 

This Education Day is part of a six-series of programs throughout the country co-hosted with the Alpha-1 Foundation. They are also an opportunity to get access to current Alpha-1 medical information and resources. Please click here to register and view the program. Timeline_of_reformThe Affordable Care Act puts in place comprehensive health insurance reforms that will roll out over four years and beyond, with most changes taking place by 2014. Others have already begun.  Some changes include a 50% discount for name-brand drugs in the Medicare "donut hole," expanded coverage for young adults and Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plans.
