Reforming States Group, V-BID and the Milbank Memorial Fund
Recently, the V-BID center was pleased to co-facilitate a meeting hosted by the Reforming States Group and the Milbank Memorial Fund. The meeting explored ways that states can implement Value-Based Insurance Design in their state employee health plans, state exchanges, and Medicaid programs. Participants had a robust discussion and the Center looks forward to continuing this discussion with many of the participants.

Maine Health CO-OP to explore V-BID
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services have awarded $62 million in financing for Maine Community Health Options (MCHO) for the development of a non-profit Consumer Operated and Oriented Plan (CO-OP) in Maine. The CO-OP is designed to be operational in 2014 and offered as a qualifying health plan through the anticipated health insurance exchange. |
