Like many of the startup organizations we support, the EC continues to balance progress with chaos as it continues to build it's programs, grow its membership, deliver measurable results, and provide value to the entrepreneurship community in Southeast North Carolina. This is exemplified in the April newsletter as well as in the upcoming Rocket Pitch. A popular event which highlights some of the top hi-growth businesses in the region. Enjoy.
Sincerely, Jonathan Rowe

Documentary Project on Entrepreneurship
|
In January 2010 the EC, in partnership with the UNCW Film Studies Department, began filming a series of profiles on local startup companies. The goal is to create a video library of the region's entrepreneurial success stories to use in helping to recruit entrepreneurs and startups as well as for classroom learning. The profiles will eventually be weaved into a 1-hour documentary on our region's strong and diverse entrepreneurial environment. The project was launched with a budget of $150 and a special 3-min preview will be shown at the Rocket Pitch event. We are currently looking for sponsors to support and be associated with this exciting project. Contact Jonathan Rowe for more information if interested.
