A Gospel Wedding!
Thank you for praying for Ruth and Guillaume's wedding. There were close to 200 in attendance including many unbelievers who live in the Quebec City area. Benoit Guillot did an excellent job preaching the message. Salvation was clear, as was the need for the grace of God in a marriage. Do pray for the many who heard the Gospel and with whom believers have regular contact, that hearts might be opened to the truth.

Epilepsy and the Websters
After Stephanie's trip to the Montreal Neurological Institute, the neurologist put her on sick leave from work until she gives birth. Then she will be on maternity leave for a year, which is the law in Quebec. During that time, the doctors in Montreal want her to come back for more testing.
Catherine is doing well in her classes. She has also been giving piano lessons, which has provided her with some spending money. She would really like to be able to return to a regular five to ten hour a week job to help with her school bill. Would you pray for God's direction and provision? You may remember that the last such attempt was made too soon.
And now there is also Valerie whose partial seizures have been getting worse. She is seeing the same neurologist that Catherine saw while she was in South Carolina. He is working in collaboration with Catherine's doctors at the Montreal Neurological Institute. Do pray for God's grace and direction for Valerie, her husband Tom and their three young children.

Grandaddy is coming!
Speaking of the three grandchildren, Mike will be seeing them next week! He will fly to North Carolina on Monday the 7th. From there he will be traveling by car to and from deputation meetings and a conference in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. Pray for a profitable time spiritually, physically, and emotionally. But pray especially that God will honored through the preaching of His Word and the presentation of the spiritual need of Quebec. |
