Mission Teams
| Beth Eden Team |
Since we last wrote, we have hosted two mission teams. The first was from Oak Ridge Baptist in Oak Ridge Tennessee. As in years past, this group brought qualified skills to help with several renovation projects. They worked incredibly hard and accomplished more than we expected. The second team composed of seven teens and three leaders returned home to Denver, Colorado at the end of July. They were from Beth Eden Baptist and were led by the youth pastor and accompanied by a ministerial student. What a blessing these young people have been! Do pray for them that God would use this time here for His glory in each of their lives.

Ministry Notes
This summer has afforded more opportunities for our young men, Benoit, Dave, Jeremie, to minister God's Word. This has been a blessing to the church and important for each of them. Benoit will be participating more regularly with the preaching and Dave will be handling adult Sunday School. Jeremie and Stephanie are working on a youth program for this Fall. Jeremie has been helping his dad with the teen Sunday School. We are so thrilled by the fine group of young adults that are now a part of the work here!
We ask prayer for the salvation of Nathanael, Sarah, and Naomi, three teens with whom we have regular contact. Pray for their contact with o | Guillaume | ur other young people, that God might use their example to open doors for biblical discussions.
Attendances have been low recently as many people are out of town for vacation. This includes Guillaume who has flown to Idaho to spend time with the Clancy family. The Clancy's were here over the last year to learn French for service in Africa. Pray that their time with Guillaume will be spiritually profitable and help him with several important decisions. |
Family Matters
We ask continued prayer for Catherine. On our recent visit to the specialist in Montreal, the dosage for her medicine was increased. Adjustment to the higher dosage has been a challenge and she still had seizures last week. In spite of these challenges, Catherine feels that God would have her pursue a Christian education in order to better serve the Lord. She currently is applying for acceptance as an online student at Piedmont Baptist College. We need God's continued direction in this matter. |
