Greetings!
There is the energy of the holiday rush in the studio this month! In this newsletter you will find some gift giving options that your favorite smithy will love, I introduce some fetching new smith attire, introduce a new tool, and point out a few of you that have become, "absolutely fabulous".

Give the Gift of Creativity
What does you favorite Smithy want this holiday (or any time of year)? A gift certificate for creativity at SilverWorks of course!
Give the gift of creativity to that special someone who keeps talking about how much fun they are having melting metal. It is exactly what they want... an excuse to play with fire!
These gift certificates come in 3 hour ($30) and 5 hour ($50) denominations or can be customized. You can purchase one from SilverWorks via email, phone, to be picked up at the studio on Sat. Dec 24th.

SilverWorks has T-Shirts!
You know you love to play with fire. Now you can let the world know it. One design will have people staring at your chest wondering what "I love to pickle" means. The other design is pretty straight forward, "I play with fire."
Long Sleeve Ts $25 Short Sleeve Ts $20 Aprons $20
Available for purchase in the studio.

You are Absolutely Fabulous!
The end of the year always brings me to reflecting on what wonderful things took place in the studio, what things could be improved, and how the studio can best continue to contribute to your creative journey. In that first category (of wonderful things) it gives me great pride to see where some of you have taken your craft. This year I point out a few of you that have improved your skill leaps and bounds, and developed a recognizable "style". Some of you are even showing your work! This handful of special people for 2011 are:
Joan Danoff, Lili Borenzstein, Rona Eisner, Tracy Braun, Judy Madden & Constance Beck.

New Tool (Sort of)
We now have a single serving coffee maker!.OK maybe it doesn't qualify as a "tool", but it can be helpful when you need a little boost. Help yourself and add $1 to your open studio form. Cups are available, but you can also bring your own mug to leave at the studio!
