Discover Silversmithing 1
February 16 & 17, Wed, Thurs, 10:30 am- 1:30pm.

A little last minute? Don't worry, there are a few seats left in this introductory workshop. Jump on board.


Handcraft your own silver jewelry while learning the basics of silver fabrication techniques. Skills learned include the use of an acetylene torch, soldering, sawing, forging, and fusion. Create 3 pieces of finished silver jewelry of your own design. This workshop makes you eligible for open studio time.
Materials fee $25.

Skill Builder: Using Stones
February 23 & 24. Wednesday & Thursday 10:30am-1:30pm.
The next step from a Silver Saturday, or a Discover Workshop. learn how to construct a bezel from scratch and to set a cabochon stone. We will also explore incorporating your bezel into a design. More advanced soldering technique. A must have skill to continue your smithing journey.
Materials fee based on individual's choice of stone and project. Usually under $20.

Intermediate Silversmithing: March 3-31 Thurs eves 6:30-9:30 
This course expands on the skills learned in Beginning Silversmithing with creating bezels for faceted stones, learning charcoal casting, applique, and a choice of fold-forming or constructing a tube hinge.
