Victoria Gilbert, Head of Foreign Languages at St. David's School in Manhattan, will teach us Spanish in a brief immersion style class, and a panel of teachers will discuss the benefits of immersion classroooms and how we can apply this method to our own classrooms. We hope you had a great holiday season! If you didn't see our holiday scrapbook, you can see it here. It's a lookback in pictures at a wonderful year of community-building and supporting each other in teaching Chinese. As Dr. Tang would say, now, back to work. We have lined up great speakers on a range of valuable topics for our Spring Professional Development forums specifically for Chinese teachers. We're working with schools and districts across New York City and the state to develop and promote Chinese language teaching.
