Confucius: A Multi-disciplinary Approach
Dr.
Renqiu Yu, Professor of History, SUNY Purchase, will speak on fundamental concepts of Confucianism, Ren (Humanity), Xiao (Filial piety), and Zhong (Loyalty). Following the lecture, a panel of Chinese language teachers and subject-area teachers will share
their experiences in teaching Chinese language and culture through a

Resources on Standardized Assessments
 The NYS ALBETAC in cooperation with Project DCLT held a full-day workshop on Standardized Assessments on Election Day. More than 50 Chinese teachers joined the discussion about the A.P. Exam and New York State standardized assessments. Video and presentations from the event, together with additional resources on assessment, can be found on Project DCLT's website.
