Just Think Outside
...the place for creativity
Greetings!

Sunset in Monument Valley B&W

When one of the owners of Style heard that Bonnie and I were planning to vacation in South Carolina she asked if I would shoot images of the Cooper River Bridge.

Her request lead me to a location with a great opportunity for creative photography.

Take care,
Jeffrey

Suspension

The official name is the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge.  It is a cable-style suspension bridge and has two diamond shape towers standing 575 feet tall.  The towers are connected to the deck by 128 cables which suspend the bridge 186 feet above the river.

Connections

The bridge is 13,200 feet long with a 1,546 foot span between the towers.  Along the entire length is a 12-foot wide pedestrian/bike path.  From the bridge you can see the skyline of Charleston, the Yorktown aircraft carrier, and traffic on the Cooper River.

Color, infrared, landscape and abstract.  Taking photographs on and around the bridge was a great opportunity and an exhilarating experience.
