Greetings!

WOW - time has flown by. It has been a very intense three months since we received our Non Profit Producer's License.
The new office is set up (mostly) and we invite everyone to stop by and say hello - Wednesdays & Thursdays from 10:00 am to 3:00 PM. Other times are by appointment only.
Our large veg room is looking great with the second and third show ladies getting BIG - and the first flower room is loaded and flipped onto bloomin'. We still need to finish the second flower room and hope to load it by March 1 at the latest. That will give us rolling harvests once a month for our registered patients' much needed medicine.
We had our first small harvest. It was started under my own Personal Grow License and the plants were donated to the Non Profit as soon as we were ready. The response to our initial strain, NY Diesel, was overwhelmingly positive. We delivered 82 orders to 77 unique patients. 52 orders were picked up at our Santa Fe office by appointment, and the rest were delivered with no delivery charge around the state - Roswell, Tularosa, Las Cruces, Farmington, Las Vegas and Albuquerque. For most of these folks, it was the first time receiving legal medicine close to home. We met incredible folks - truly - and had emotionally uplifting experiences getting medicine to where it was needed in a legal, safe, open, caring way. Great thanks to the five New MexiCann Board members who made the out-of-town runs and to those who helped with the office pick ups.
Late March we will be harvesting more NY Diesel and also a lot of Train Wreck - with delivery by mid April. The following harvest will also include Maple Berry (from a local Taos clone) and also California Orange (a soft easy balanced strain for medicinal relief that is easy on the high). Harvest three or four will also include Shiva, Legend, Jack Herrer and a Shiva Skunk - assuming our new clones grow up and become Moms!
We are making our office space available to folks in the Medical Cannabis Community who want to teach cooking and growing and have Patients Group meetings. There is no charge for space use but it needs to be approved and scheduled.
We have also made clones available at no charge to patients who have a Personal Grow License. These need to be pre-ordered, scheduled and picked up in Santa Fe. In order to avoid exceeding our 95 plant count maximum, we need to hand off the clones before they become rooted viable plants and are still considered cuttings. The timing for that is tight and we need your help to pull it off. We are providing 2 clones per strain to patients to grow out into Moms for patients' perpetual cloning and gardening.
Check out the other sections of this newsletter for info from Jay on classes, deliveries and what ever else he has up his sleeve. Be Well,

Southward Bound
Jay and Judy deliver to South Central NM
I was privileged to deliver medicine
to our neighbors in Southern New Mexico. Though it was a long trip from Santa Fe
to Las Cruces, meeting our clients made the trip well worthwhile. Their
appreciation of home delivery was the real reward of the trip.
The trip south was problem free. All
deliveries were made while heading south, to avoid the check points, and we
carried no medicine while heading north and going through the checkpoints. One
of our clients reported asking Homeland Security if they would let him through
with medicine and the response was, "If you have your card, you're good to go."
This is one event and one person's view of Homeland Security.
It seems that President Obama is being true to
his word. If you are obeying state marijuana laws there will be no punishment
for possession. The majority of citizens accept medical marijuana contrary to
federal law. The times they are a' changing and as more states pass medical
marijuana laws, it is clear that, at least for medical use, it is generally
accepted by the population and the administration. Increased access to marijuana
means more people have access to symptom relieving medicine. In addition to
access, patients can choose an herbal, rather than chemical treatment.
Our priority is getting medicine to
patients. Until there are producers in the farther reaches of the state, New
MexiCann will continue to serve our clients no matter where they live. Working
together, we can assure that patient suffering will be lessened. New MexiCann is
dedicated to service the whole state, and as always, we look forward to meeting
you.
