At the July 6th meeting, the Council gave final approval for Dollar General in Apopka. The vote was 4-1. This business is projected to bring 13 jobs to our city. The Council approved a Waffle House Restaurant on Main Street. This business is expected to bring 30-35 full time jobs & 15 part time jobs to our city. Artist renderings of both locations are available for review at City Hall, or send me an email and I'll be happy to mail you a copy.
The Council approved the first reading of Ordinance #2220 (Small Scale Comprehensive Plan Amendment) & Ordinance #2221 (Changing the Zoning) of property located at 1017 and 1027 Rock Springs Road. The property owner has requested it be re-zoned to Commercial (C-1). |
