Language Partial Immersion for 2012-2013

Go to http://www.fcps.edu/is/worldlanguages/immersion.shtml for the latest information on how to find out about, and sign up for, the partial immersion language programs that are available to students in Fairfax County.

Fox Mill will host an information night to discuss our Japanese program on Jan. 19 at 7 p.m.  (Snow date is Jan. 26).  Please pay close attention to the deadlines posted for applying for openings in next year's first grade classes. The placements are based on a lottery, and you must apply in time to be included in that process.

Laptops Needed
Many of Fox Mill's laptops are coming close to retirement age. If you work for a business, or know someone who is working for a business, that is upgrading its laptops, please consider donating them to the school. The school uses Windows-based machines and Dell computers primarily. FCPS guidelines require that donations be enough for a classroom set, so 20-30 laptops should be donated at the same time.  If you have any questions, e-mail Audrey Kirtland, Fox Mill's Technology Specialist, at aakirtland@fcps.edu.
Playdate and Leave Early Form
Click here to open a form that you can fill out and submit to the office if your child is having a playdate after school or leaving school early. Parents of both children are required to submit written permission for the school to allow a playdate. The form is also available on the PTA website at foxmillpta.com
