Final Boosterthon Pledges Due WEDNESDAY

There are a few pledges and donations that still need to be turned in, so please do so by Nov. 30.
THANK YOU FOX MILL for all your hard work in raising funds for our school. The school has raised $32,500. WAY to GO!!!.
The final collection for the Boosterthon will be on Dec. 1. All money turned in between Nov. 1 and Nov. 30 will be entered into the Boosterthon database on Dec. 1.
Please make all checks payable to Fox Mill PTA. If you are using one check to pay for multiple children, please write the children's names, grades, and teachers on the memo line or on your envelope. Don't forget all money collected is TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Click here to print a receipt or go to www.fcps.edu/FoxMillES. If you choose to pay online, there is a $2 convenience fee.

Picture Make-Up Day on Wednesday
|  Picture make-up day is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 30. Those students who were absent on picture day have been provided with a picture make-up day order envelope. If you were not pleased with your student's original portrait, have your student bring their entire portrait package with the blue and brown receipt back to the photographer on picture make-up day. The photographer will retake your child's portrait and you will receive a new package in its place. Questions? Call Splendid Portraits at 1-800-230-4602. |

Japanese New Year Art Project This Week
| This week (Nov. 29 to Dec. 2), parent volunteers with the Japanese Cultural Commitee will be attending all kindergarten through fifth grade art classes to teach about Japanese New Year traditions. Since 2012 is the year of the dragon, the students will be making dragons. If you would like to come help in your child's or any other art class, please sign up at www.signupgenius.com/go/japanese13. No Japanese language skills or art skills or knowledge of Japanese New Year is necessary for the helper position.

Kids' Craft Fair Applications
| Attention young artists and crafters!! You are invited to set up a table and sell cool stuff made by you at our annual Kids' Craft Fair. This event takes place during our Secret Shop and Adult Craft Fair on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (setup is at 8 a.m.). The cost is $2.50 per space.

Holiday Secret Shop and Craft Fair

Believe it or not the holidays are fast approaching and it is time for our annual Secret Shop and Craft Fair! Children shop for their friends or family from a huge selection of gifts. The best part is that the gifts are their secret, because 6th grade shopping buddies help our children select, pay, and wrap! (AND NO PEEKING PARENTS!)
Where: Fox Mill Elementary School Gymnasium
When: Saturday, Dec. 3, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Father-Daughter Dance Register by Dec. 1
|
 Fox Mill ES will be hosting its second annual Father-Daughter Dance on Friday, Jan. 6, 2012 from 7 p.m to 9 p.m. All daughters (kindergartners through 6th graders) are welcome with their dads or uncles or grandpas to spend an "Evening Under The Sea" as we dance to some great DJ music and enjoy refreshments and fun! Tickets are $15 per family by Dec. 1.

SCA Holiday Food Collection until Dec. 6
|
The SCA will assist LINK again by collecting food for their annual Holiday Food Basket Program. The SCA would like each student to bring in at least one item from Nov. 28 through Dec. 6. We prefer to avoid glass jars for safety reasons.
