BACK TO SCHOOL BACKPACK DRIVE!

 

For those of you who don't know, I help the Family Giving Tree collect and fill backpacks for kids in need to start school.

 

I have a few kids left who need backpacks and all the other stuff that kids need to put in a backpack.

 

How it works - you pick a card (or I give you one), it tells you what grade and boy or girl, then it has a list of everything you need to put in the backpack, then you bring it to me and I make sure it gets to the right place!

Summer is here and so is its abundance of energy to tap into. And with exercise being proven to help just about every function in the body from sex drive to brain patterns and heart disease prevention, there is absolutely no excuse not to workout or be active.

The Got Function Test is Finally Here!

Look what I have created!!

 

I have finally finished developing an evaluation that can pin point a person's weakest links (functionally) and correct them, one by one, through an individualized exercise program that is based on the outcomes of the evaluation.

In the past, my evaluations have been mostly for helping me determine where to fix someone. This test is different because it is geared towards SHOWING YOU HOW TO FIX YOU, at home, with no equipment. 

I am so excited about this test that I am offering a special to the first 10 people that want to experience The Got Function Test. 

Normally the evaluation is $150 and $65 for follow up sessions (this is already a great deal considering it costs up to $300 to see a specialist who tells you to rest, take some anti-inflammatories and maybe recommend surgery).

 

This special is only $100 for 3 sessions! 

 

That's a savings of $180!

 

Which includes: initial evaluation/test, follow up session for me to show you all of the corrective actions, and then a re-evaluation once you are ready (usually 4-6 weeks) with any changes or additions to the plan.

RECIPE OF THE MONTH
  
Lamb Kabobs

A new favorite of mine that you can also substitute with beef. Since I got this recipe from a client who has been cooking forever and does not measure, I have no idea what the true ratios should be =) ~ so feel free to experiment. 
 
  • 1 lb ground beef or lamb
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • A lot of parsley, finely chopped
  • At least 1 tsp allspice
  • Some salt
Mix together with hands (gotta love that feeling!) until thoroughly mixed.
Form into whatever shape you want, mash them with a fork so you get a cool and professional looking imprint on them, and BBQ!
I BBQ them at about 500 degrees F for about 5 minutes per side.
