The Neti Pot

 Neti Pot

This little tea pot look-a-like is great for keeping your sinuses clean and free from accumulating allergins and bacteria. You can also buy a mist sprayer from the drug store called "Simply Saline" that works well.
It works by flushing your sinuses with warm water and natural salts.
You can find them at Whole Foods and other stores.

Bio Pic of ChrisEssential Oil Gifts Coming Soon!

Happy Holidays. I hope you made it through round one of this hilatious cold season and still have your health. I made it without any help this year other than my neti pot and all
natural essential oils. I used eucalyptus for my sinuses and a special blend to fight off colds and flus. These oils have powerful anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties that enter your bloodstream through your lungs when you inhale their aroma. They have been used for thousands of years and are extremely effective at fighting colds, relieving chronic pain and muscle aches.
I am happy to tell you that I have high quality oils for you this season! I am concocting some special blends right now for round two of colds that contain oils known to help muscle aches and pains and fight off colds, flus, sinus infections and allergies.

Please stay tuned for an email in the next few weeks announcing the new oils!
Secrets to a Happy Holiday Tummy

Food Layering, that's the secret. You may have heard about food combining, but food layering is less known for some unfortunate reason. Many people and countries already do it naturally, and these people are usually healthier, lighter, and have more energy.
While food combining says that you shouldn't eat certain foods in the same meal, food layering tells you how to eat at each meal.
Simply put, when you eat a food, it is digested by a specific acid or base substance in your stomach. Many foods, such as proteins and carbs, use digestive juices that counteract each other, like a base and an acid. This leaves a mess in the stomach that does not digest well and prevents proper absorption of nutrients into the body. This leads to bloating, gas, fatigue, lack of concentration and lots of other symptoms you do not want on a first date, especially if you have to hang out all day for Thanksgiving!
So, the secret is to eat each food one at a time, then move on to the next food. For example, eat all of your turkey and gravy. Then move on to the potatoes, cranberry sauce, biscuits, eggs, pumpkin pie, oh man I'm gettin hungry. This way of eating will allow for a layering in the stomach that actually keeps each food and digestive concoction separate from the next. If you eat 6 different foods separately, then you will have 6 different layers in your stomach, all with unique digestive processes going on that allow your body to fully absorb their nutrients.
Pretty cool huh? This has helped me out more than any other food strategy I have ever used. Check out this website http://drbass.com/sequential.html for more info.
