Sara German may be the newest face at Valley United Way in her role as Director of Resource Development, but a closer look reveals that she is far from a stranger. The curtain is about to go up on Valley United Way's 2012-2013 Community Campaign with a special matinee Kickoff performance starring campaign Chair Joe Pagliaro, Jr., his campaign cabinet - and you! Please join us in our beautiful new office in the old Lafayette School in Shelton and on the stage at Center Stage in the same building as we bring the community together to mark the beginning of this very important Valley tradition.

Register by September 10th here!

Where in the Valley is Joe Pagliaro Jr?

As part of the 2012-2013 Community Campaign, we're putting Campaign Chairman Joe Pagliaro on the road to give you an idea of just what services your donations are helping to support. Joe will be making stops all over the Valley adding his own thoughts about the importance of the services being provided in the community. In addition to the video, we'll also have a story about the agency to give you a fuller perspective of the importance of the agency.

Be sure to check out the newest installment of the series on our website tomorrow!

Leadership Greater Valley Has a New Logo and Website - and only 4 openings left

Leadership Greater Valley (LGV) combines leadership skill building with community education. During the nine-week program, participants get a bird's-eye view of the issues facing the community, begin developing the leadership skills necessary to assume leadership roles and are exposed to involvement opportunities in the community. The class is limited to 15 selected individuals - those who will have the personal opportunity to learn from the leaders of many local organizations and associations. Leadership Greater Valley is unlike other programs because it provides a catalyst for community vision and change - it builds a better tomorrow for all of us.
