Youth Leaders Receive Honors
Brienne Marks and Caitlin Baker
Brienne Marks and Caitlin Baker have been leaders among our youth leaders as co-presidents of the program, and their work was recently rewarded with special honors. Brienne has been selected by the Derby Elks Lodge #571 in Derby as one of their finalists for the Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student awards.
Caitlin Baker has been named the 2011-2012 Scholar Athlete at Sacred Heart Academy. This prestigious award will be presented at the Connecticut High School Scholar Athlete awards Dinner in May. She was a member and captain of both the cross country and track teams, but also excelled in the classroom where she is a member of the National Honor Society.
We congratulate both of these outstanding young ladies who put their leadership skills to use on a daily basis!
