CDW Wins 2011 Community Corporate Cup

CDW-G is the 2001 Community Corporate Cup Champion following a very strong finish that included victories in the final two and three of the last four events. In what may have been an omen of things to come, CDW-G got off to a great start in the very first event when Evelyn Allen rolled a perfect game and CDW-G won the first of their four event titles.
CDW also took first place in the Run/Walk, Wiffleball and the Healthy Team competitions. PerkinElmer finished a strong second this year after winning the Cup for four consecutive years. They managed to capture individual titles in Orienteering, Run/Walk and Mini-Golf.
BIC Incorporated finished in third place for the second straight year while a couple of former winners, Spectrum Plastics and Birmingham Group rounded out the top five.
CDW-G has been competing in the Cup series since 2005 when they finished in ninth place. Their best previous finish was in 2006 when they finished third.

CDW Is Also the "Healthiest"

Thaddeus Kurowski and Justin Sikora gave CDW-G the icing on the cake for their 2011 Corporate Cup win with a first place finish in the Healthy Team competition. They scored 105 points to beat out PerkinElmer's Jen Linder and Anne Runge who were the only other participants to break the century mark in the scoring. Birmingham Group's Katie Wellington and Tracy Cafasso finished third after winning the event in each of the last two years.
BIC Incorporated's Sherri Gastaron and Margaret Katreyna finished one point ahead of PerkinElmer's Alexis Tomczack and Skander Benayed. Alexis was part of winning teams back in 2008 and 2007. Skander was a two time champ as well having won the title back in 2004 and 2003.
There were 33 teams who started this year's Healthy Team competition and 20 fulfilled all of the requirements.
