"Final Four"

 It started out under spectacular spring sunshine but finished under the light of a flashlight and car headlights as Spectrum Plastics Dan & Dave Kelly scored one of the most memorable and dramatic Corporate Cup wins ever over Maria DeMaio and Mark Convertito from Fletcher Thompson.

The dynamic duo from FletcherThompson had come out of the losers bracket to avenge their first defeat at the hands of Spectrum and force a deciding third game between the teams. After overcoming an early 5-2 Spectrum lead, DeMaio and Convertito came within one point of victory at 10-9 before the Kelly's scored a spectacular three points to emerge as 12-10 winners in a field of 25 teams.

Corporate Cup competition draws to a close next week when the postponed  Wiffleball Tournament takes place. The Shelton Riverwalk will still be the site, but the event will be held on Monday, June 20 at 5:30. Play will continue on Tuesday, June 21 if not completed on the 21st. If you have any changes from your initial registration, please call United Way with the changes.  

The schedule will be set on Friday, so please call with any changes immediately.
