Last week's bad weather postponed the Corporate Cup Orienteering event one week, and it's now set for tomorrow (April 20) - barring another dose of bad weather. We have decided to hold the event at Osbornedale State Park in Derby.
A map and compass will be provided. Appropriate outdoor attire is strongly suggested and competitors should assume that the course will be very wet in spots.
The official start time is 5:00pm on Wednesday but teams will be allowed to start as early as 4:00pm.
Horseshoes is this week as well - Saturday, April 30th
Quick on the heels of Orienteering is Saturday's Horseshoes Tournament. Corporate Cup competitors will be pitching shoes in teams of two to three players. All players must be present at the start of this event of the team will be forced to forfiet. Click here for a list of rules.
The official start time is 9:00 am on Saturday April 30. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of this event. The horseshoes competition will take place at American Legion Sutter-Terlizzi Post #16 located at 295 Bridgeport Ave, Shelton.

A fifth place finish in Darts was still enough for CDW-G as they extended their Corporate Cup lead to more than 2 full points in the race for the 2011 Cup. TEAM, Inc. used their Darts win to jump from seventh to a tie for third place in the standings while Spectrum Plastics moved up a notch to second place. BIC jumped from sixth to fourth in the latest standings moving into a tie with the Valley YMCA.
