Let the Good Times Roll - Bowling Results

Twenty-eight teams duked it out to see who was the king pin at Milford Lanes in the first scoring event in this year's Corporate Cup. Evelyn Allen bowled a perfect game by scoring 300 points in one of the rounds, which helped CDW-G win the tournament. Congratulations to CDW-G's team, "Team I Don't Know," on the win and for seting a new record for pins knocked down - 2,348! Next Event - Darts Wednesday, March 23

CorpCupDartsTeams will be testing their accuracy in the second event- darts. This will be taking place at the Valley YMCA located at 12 State St. in Ansonia. Click here for more information on this event and instructions on how the game will be played. Darts will be provided by the YMCA, but participants may bring their own darts this year. All participants must be present at the start of the event (5:30pm) or that team must forfeit. 

 

The registration deadline to compete in the darts event is Wednesday, March 16th. If you haven't registered your team yet, please click here to fill out and sumbit an electronic form.

CDW-G Takes the Lead
For the first time since they began competing back in 2005, CDW-G finds themselves atop the leader board in the pursuit of the 2011 Community Corporate Cup title. A very impressive win in a field of 28 in Bowling earned them 19 points and a half point lead over Fletcher Thompson. Former champions Spectrum Plastics and PerkinElmer hold down third and fourth. Valley YMCA rounds out the top five.

The first official event of this year's Corporate Cup took place on Monday, March 7 when Healthy Team participants were treated to a Healthy Breakfast in the dining room at Griffin Hospital.The first of three healthy meals drew a full house. Next up on the meal schedule is the Healthy Dinner on March 31. Don't forget to make your reservation early as seating is limited. Only Healthy Team members are eligible to participate this year. 

 

Healthy Empowerment Series Added to Healthy Team

The overall winner is decided by total points accumulated throughout the series, making it is beneficial to enter every event.
