Nick Completes Challenge
Tri-challenge Sponsor
If you see Nick Tarasovic in the coming days, he may look a bit tired and a bit sore, but he'll have a big smile on his face after successfully completing his almost year long Tri-Challenge. On Sunday he swam 2.4 miles, rode a bike for 112 miles and ran 26.2 more miles in the Revolution 3 Cedar Point Triathlon in Sandusky, Ohio!

Nick's efforts raised close to $12,000 for Valley United Way and several other nonprofits in the Valley. Click here for the latest update.

Leadership Greater Valley Begins Thursday

Leadership Greater Valley Leadership Greater Valley 2010 begins on Thursday. There is still one opening left for the program, a joint effort of Valley United Way, The Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Valley Council for Health & Human Services. This is an incredible nine-week program for anyone looking to hone their leadership skills and to learn how the Valley operates.

Participants have the opportunity to meet and learn from leaders of the business, government and nonprofit sectors in the Valley in unique settings all across the Valley. For complete information click here, or visit any of the organization's websites.

We are very pleased at Valley United Way to have 3 graduates of previous programs currently serving on our Board of Directors.
