Leadership Greater Valley Begins in September

Leadership Greater Valley

There are still a few openings for the 2010 Leadership Greater Valley Program, a joint effort of Valley United Way, The Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Valley Council for Health & Human Services. This is an incredible nine-week program for anyone looking to hone their leadership skills and to learn how the Valley operates.

Participants have the opportunity to meet and learn from leaders of the business, government and nonprofit sectors in the Valley in unique settings all across the Valley. For complete information and an application click here, or visit any of the organization's websites.

We are very pleased at Valley United Way to have 3 graduates of previous programs currently serving on our Board of Directors.

We want to thank the R.D. Scinto Company and Prudential Annuities for sponsoring a successful food drive on two consecutive Thursdays in the "Circle" at the Towers on Corporate Drive. The food collected benefits the Spooner House at a time of year when supplies are very low. Thank you to all who donated, and check out the short video on our website.
