| Bocce Ends in Darkness |
The "Survivors"  | The first Community Corporate Cup ran out of daylight, but not
enthusiasm as 26 teams set out in pursuit of the first ever title on
a beautiful night along the Shelton Riverwalk. Playing under ideal
weather conditions, the field dwindled to the final four before
being halted by darkness. Who are the final four - click here to find out. We also have a full album of pictures from a very enjoyable evening, and we want to thank everyone for the tremendous sportsmanship shown all evening.

Run/Walk Set for Ansonia Hilltop
|
This year's Run/Walk is coming up quickly and is a great way to show your physical fitness. Up until last year, this was just a walk around the track, but you now have a choice of doing the 2K walk or running in the larger 5K run - the Valley YMCA Sunset 5K. It will be held at the Prendergast School in Ansonia, and will start at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 9. After a stressful day at work, unwind with a walk or run through Ansonia.

Healthy Team Testing Ends Today
|
Post-testing for Healthy Team ends today, but the results will not be announced until the Awards reception on June 22 at Griffin Hospital. We know that many of you have really improved on your health over the last couple of months, and we look forward to sharing some success stories and the announcement of the winners.

Wiffleball is on-deck!

Last year marked the introduction of wiffleball to the Community Corporate Cup, and it proved to be a very popular event. This year's event is scheduled for Saturday, June 12 at the Shelton Riverwalk. We expect a large turnout, and we advise you to register early as we may have to limit the number of participants.Please take the time to register now.

BIC still on top as Bocce results are on hold

With the completion of the Bocce tournament to come, the standings have not changed since miniature golf, and BIC maintains its lead. However, the next few weeks could see some wild swings in the standings as all the remaining events are high point events. During the week of June 9-12, we will be adding pints for the run/walk, wiffleball and bocce!
