Allocations Committee Reviewing Requests
Twenty-Seven community volunteers under the able leadership of Committee Chair, Peter Galla, are currently reviewing budgets and making site visits to agencies requesting funding from Valley United Way. The agencies previously had used United Way's on-line application process to fill out the financial and programmatic information about their agencies. The volunteers will make their recommendations to the Board of Directors for action at the end of June. We'll have full results in a later newsletter.

CVC Getting Ready for Back-To-School!!
The headline is not a misprint. Even though the current school year is not over, the Corporate Volunteer Council has already selected the town for this year's Back-to-School Clothes for Kids project. The selection will be announced next month.
Every year the CVC "adopts" a school and clothes needy students for a new school year. You can learn more by looking at last year's program by clicking here.
If you are interested in participating, contact Volunteer Center Director Pat Tarasovic.
