Bowling is Saturday
|

Eighteen teams have already signed up for Saturday's Corporate Cup Bowling Tournament, but there is still time to register your team. Perkin Elmer is the two-time defending champion, but former champs United Illuminating are back in the tournament this year. UI and Perkin Elmer have dominated bowling for the last 10 years with the exception of 2003 when Gordon Rubber won the tournament - and they are back this year as well. Ricky Santorelli, Jodi Och, Gossett Daley and John Och (pictured above) won last year's tournament by 261 pins, and they'll all be back again this year to defend their title. Bowling starts at 1:00 pm, but teams should report to the registration desk between 12:30 and 12:45. For all the details and to register for this year's event, click here.

Healthy Team event off to a great start
|
The Healthy Team competition has 35 teams on their way to a healthier lifestyle. Pre-testing is over, and the Healthy Breakfast on March 2 was sold out. The Griffin culinary staff did their usual great job in showing everyone how to eat healthy, and they even provided the recipe from the breakfast.
Over the next three months participants will be accumulating points by participating in Cup events, keeping exercise and diet logs and taking advantage of opportunities to pick up bonus points along the way. There is a full listing of scoring opportunities on the website.

Still time to save on full registration
|
The most cost
effective way to participate in the Community Corporate Cup is by
registering for a full Cup registration rather than for individual
events. The cost is only $450 for your first team and $325 for a second
team. This registration entitles you to a team in every single event.
You can find the registration form by clicking here.
