Greetings!
But for the aura that surrounds the building, the twinge of
familiarity when you see it for the first time, Independence Hall is not an
imposing structure. The actual meeting
hall where the signing of the Declaration of Independence took place 234 years
ago is not quite as large as the lobby of the spa. Independence Hall is not far from where I went to medical
school. On some beautiful days I would
take a book or two and study on the spacious lawn in the back. Between that and my frequent forays to Revolutionary War battlefields I almost literally spent eight years of my
life with the Founding Fathers looking over my shoulder. With Independence Day hard by and with everything that is
going on in our country it is a good time to remember what went on there that
hot June and July in 1776. Facing war
with a mighty nation, facing capture and possible ruin, 56 merchants, farmers,
jurists, tradesmen signed a document that put a price on their heads because
they believed in the ideals of freedom. Five signers were captured by the British as
traitors and tortured before they died. Twelve had their homes ransacked and
burned. Two lost their sons in the Revolutionary War, another had two sons
captured. Nine of the fifty-six fought and died from wounds or the hardships of
the Revolutionary War. What they did there
gave us a priceless gift...our liberty. It's an even better
time to remember the last sentence of that amazing document. "And for the support of this Declaration,
with a firm reliance of the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge
to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred Honor." We can do no less,

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
It's
been almost 20 years since the big hit, i.e. plastic surgery, was the

develop new products and to market existing products. Just about 18
months ago they funded a study that digitally removed wrinkles and skeletal
differences and compared the tone, texture, and coloration of the skin. The findings were nothing short of eye-opening. In every case, skin that
was uniform in color, had fewer large pores, fewer broken vessels, and fewer
brown spots was graded as looking more youthful across the board. The lesson is clear: Your skin is the number one barometer to
looking younger and healthier. What you do for your health before you come into the office is as important as
the measures you take to improve your skin after your treatment. But what
is truly amazing is what we can do for your skin with no pain and no downtime
while you are in the office. We combine our legendary ultra-relaxing one-hour dermal planing facial with our
1064 Nd:YAG laser and follow that with an IPL treatment. It's a two-hour
session we call FACIAL GENESIS. We recommend a series of three. If there is one secret to good skin, this is it. I know...I have this
treatment series done every two and a half years. Now for the good news. I feel it is so important that this be done on a

In the seven years we have been at Hyatt we have seen the parking lot attempt many different incarnations to alleviate the very rare times when there are no spaces available. The latest attempt involves the erection of an attendant kiosk.
All our patients need to know, however, is that their parking is always FREE.
Hyatt booth  | Merely pull up to the kiosk (pictured above) and press the green button. Take a ticket and the gate will swing up as neatly as Sinbad's rock.
Before you leave the office be sure to have us autograph that ticket. Merely return the chit to the attendant when you leave and he will send you on your way with a cheery wave.
While that's all there is to it, you have to remember to bring your ticket into the office. To be on the safe side we will remind you before you leave.
Should no spaces be available, remember all you need do is drive to the front of the hotel and take advantage of complimentary valet parking. Shuttle service to and from our office is always available upon your request.

A HORSE ARTIST!?!
|
No, your eyes are not deceiving you. That is actually a horse painting a picture.
The horse's name is Buggs and he is a retired barrel-racing quarter horse living in Wisconsin. His human, Carol Jensen, is an artist. Not long ago, when she realized that Buggs was bored out of his mind just standing around and eating, Carol gave him a paintbrush.
The result is a series of wonderful abstracts, two of which can be seen in our office. The picture above is of Buggs painting "Salsa," currently hanging in Lynne's treatment room.
