SEVEN STEPS ON THE STRESS-FREE PATH
|
All stress is not created equal. We intuitively know the reaction we have when,
for example, a growling dog comes around the corner. The rapid pulse, the adrenaline rush, can be
useful in keeping us from harm. As soon
as the danger passes the body recovers and all is well. But it's the steady drip, drip, drip of bills
to be paid, commuting worries, job challenges, family issues, that drain the
body of its defenses and create general havoc with the immune system, and the
cardiovascular and digestive system. And
as we are finding out, stress can wreck your skin as quickly and with as much
devastating thoroughness as almost anything else you can imagine..

CLARISONIC

A path to flawless skin
We've known about the Clarisonic® skin cleansing system for
some  time and have been hearing raves about it ever since the first but it was
only in the past month that we finally decided to bring it on board and offer
it for sale to our patients. As is our practice
with any new product or system we planned on trying it out on our own faces
first.
Clarisonic is a handheld rotating brush that oscillates back
and forth about 300 times per second cleaning the skin, reducing oily and dry
patches, and leaving the skin smoother and pores smaller. The manufacturer says it removes six times
more makeup and two times more dirt and oil than manual cleaning.
Our experience exceeded our expectations.
The acid test came last weekend when we had just about gale-force
winds driving the sand into our faces for most of the day. After only a short time outside our skin was
covered with grit and grime. Out came

ANOTHER TRUE PARTY
|
 With the accompaniment of great
wine and healthy hors d'ouevres, the office hosted another successful afternoon
office party that featured TRUE's new line of products for the body. Attendees were treated to a hand and arm
exfoliation with Active Body Peel followed by a hydrating and moisturizing skin
treatment.
