ROHNERT PARK RESIDENT ALERT!  PRO-CASINO MICHAEL ALLEN RUNNING FOR YOUR NEW STATE ASSEMBLY DISTRICT!                                                                       November 10, 2011

ATTENTION ROHNERT PARK RESIDENTS!  IMMEDIATELY FORWARD THIS EMAIL TO ALL YOUR LISTS! TIME-SENSITIVE!

Michael Allen is currently serving as the Assemblymember for AD7 (Napa/Sonoma). Redistricting changes mean that Allen is a candidate for the new Assembly District 10, which includes Rohnert Park.

Allen has always been a key promoter of the Graton Rancheria casino.  He served on the Advisory Board of the now-defunct Friends of the FIGR and was a force behind the infamous agreement between the County and the FIGR.  He also was found guilty in a sort of "double-dipping" payment scheme when he worked for SCWA (he doesn't think he did anything TOO wrong.  It was just a "mistake"!).

As Assistant Majority Leader in the state legislature, he is one of the driving forces behind the attempt to give Graton  gambling compact ASAP.  He will do ANYTHING the unions want him to do, and that includes shoving this casino down your throats.

BELIEVE ME, IF YOU ARE OPPOSED TO THE ROHNERT PARK CASINO, YOU DON 'T WANT THIS GUY AS YOUR STATE ASSEMBLYMEMBER!  HE IS ONE OF YOUR WORST ENEMIES!
You have a chance to present your views on the casino to Allen.  He has recently moved from Santa Rosa to San Rafael so that he can run for the new AD10, and is holding a reception to introduce himself.  The details are below.

San Rafael's a long way to go, but please get together with some friends and neighbors and show up.  Mark Leno will be there, too.
