SQUASHWISE REACHES ITS $200,000 FUNDRAISING GOAL!
Thanks very much to everyone who supported SquashWise in the past year, and
in our final push toward our goal in the last few weeks! On August 31, we met our fundraising goal of $200,000 to qualify for a $50,000 matching grant from the National Urban Squash & Education
Association (NUSEA).
After raising nearly
$190,000, the Hoffberger Foundation generously funded the remainder to
get us to the $200,000 goal.
As NUSEA's first-ever "Star Program," SquashWise is eligible for matching funds during its first three years of operation. For the first challenge in 2008, we
raised $100,000 to receive $50,000 from NUSEA. Our next fundraising challenge will be
even greater in the coming year, so we hope you will continue to support us!
