NYC's StreetSquash will play friendly matches with students from SquashWise and Polytechnic on 11/16 at 10am at Meadow Mill Athletic Club. Join us!

Meet our Inaugural Team!
 
Tryouts were a huge success! We recruited 17 highly motivated middle school students from Booker T. Washington Middle School in west Baltimore.  Practices start Friday November 14th and include squash coaching, tutoring and mentoring.   • Amiyrah - likes squash because it's fun and active!                                     
  • Chassidy - joined the team with her sister, Jasmine.                                    
  • Crystal - a natural athlete with impressive squash skills!
  • D'Artagnan - a Philly-born squash fan!
  • Denzel - a big sports fan who thinks squash is a lot of fun!
  • Deontae - an aspiring squash player and swimming fan!
  • Habib - loves computers and football
  • Jasmine - likes the fast pace of squash!
  • John - is excited to join squash and Boy Scouts!
  • Juwan - loves to read: a strong Language Arts student!
  • Lashay'e - likes to play on team sports! 
  • Malik - loves basketball and skateboarding!
  • Mauricha - loves baking, and likes the challenge of squash!
  • Raven - a fan of the arts!
  • Stevie - was a TV star when Fox45 News featured SquashWise in its Hometown Hotspot!
  • Tashawna - a true team player!
  • Tyshawn - likes team sports because of the respect you show for your teammates!

SquashWise starts off the season with some ... tennis!

Our first field trip will be to the PNC Tennis Classic to see Serena Williams vs. Elena Dementieva on Nov. 21st. What a great opportunity to see professional racquet sports in action! Thanks to the Baltimore Tennis Patrons for making this possible! The kids will never forget it.
