Welcome back to the world of Stellina Baby as we officially enter summer in the UK!

The past few weeks went by really fast as we planned our new photo shoot. Our models were great, they loved every single piece they wore, to the extent that we struggled to take some of the new dresses away from our little Julia and Poppy was most upset not to be able to take a pink fiocco teddy bear home with her (there is one ready to be sent out by post, my darling, as a thank you for being such a star!).  

Josh, Poppy, Julia, Amaia, Beatriz and little Jaeden all enjoyed their time with Emma, the wonderfully talented (and extraordinarily patient) photographer who makes our clothes look as beautiful on our website as they are in real life!

Amidst a lot of chaos, with a few tears and tantrums, we completed one of the most important parts of our stellina baby development and I was absolutely delighted to hear that, more so than ever, Emma loved the new products and felt that the depth and assortment of colours showed through beautifully on the (thousands) of pictures she took. I am forever grateful to her for her time and dedication to our brand, and for keeping all of us focused and calm!

A big thank you for the wonderful outcome of our photography session, however, has to go to the beautiful, 100% cashmere yarns we use in all of our products! This, and the carefully studied colour combinations on each of our garments are the essential keys that make our collections so photogenic and so it should, I say!!! It took me (at least in Alistair's mind!) long enough to work on all the colour options for the new stellina baby products!  

It was a real labour of love... the final effect, though, is what I wanted - a collection created with the beauty of colour in mind, with the fun aspect of everything happy and childlike taken into account and with a huge focus on the deep hues of the sweets I loved so much as a child, that continue to inspire my design work. Here is a sneak preview of our new pieces, I hope you will enjoy them.  

We also recently found this wonderful furniture store online, Punkin Patch Interiors and instantly fell in love with what they do. It is great to know that other people have started their own businesses with the needs of a growing family in mind, and that their attention to detail and focus play a large part in their brand philosophy as much as in ours...
