A VERY belated Happy New Year to you all!
As you may - or may not have noticed - you did not receive a January newsletter from us.
This is not because we had no news for you (!), but quite the opposite
However, amidst the Christmas rush, the new product development, the children on holiday and a short Italian break to visit the family, as well as new clients and factories, Alistair and I found ourselves so caught into things that we felt we would be best to slow down a little and come out of the chaos (!) before writing a proper update for you.
So, here we are, sitting by the fire with a glass of wine in our hands (it always helps!), with lots of amazing Stellina Baby news...
First and foremost, we could barely contain our enthusiasm this afternoon, when our couriers brought our latest boxes of samples to the office. It really felt like a Christmas replay, with so many 'oh's' and 'ah's', and a fair amount of jumping for joy on my part!
Whilst we were unfolding each garment in admiration, we could not quite believe that every single detail had been made exactly as specified, every instruction followed to a T and that no corrections will need to be made on all our new development...
This is a designer's dream come true - in my fifteen odd years in the Fashion industry this is a first and I am still trying to recover from the shock! Jokes aside, though, this shows that we have found our perfect match and that our factories are just as demanding, attentive and loving towards our range as we are...
What Alistair and I love the most is that they understand luxury and they never, ever compromise on quality, finish and attention to even the smallest detail...
We have expanded the range with new dresses, a little coat, tights, socks, toys, cardigans... All these lovely new clothes will be added to the collection soon and we will notify you once they are live on the site.
However, if you really cannot wait to see what is new, then please come and visit us at Bubble London on 31st January and 1st February 2010 at the Business Design Centre, 52 Upper Street, Islington, London N1 0QH - stand VB4. We would absolutely love to see you there and hear your feedback on our new products, as well as to finally meet you.
THIS IS WHAT WE LOVE:
This month's favourite has to be the Lavanda 100% Pure Cashmere ensemble...
It has been our Christmas best seller and has been used as a Christening outfit, as an occasion garment as well as a good everyday cosy suit, to fight the super cold weather of last month.
The feedback has been unanimous: understated and super elegant, little Stellina babies have simply loved it! The simple ballet wrap design and the pull on tights are versatile and, oh, so chic! The perfect outfit for a classically fashionable baby!
Payment options update:

Maestro Card Payments As of 21st January 2010, due to MasterCard's compliance rules, Maestro cards will no longer be accepted for certain types of UK Website Payments Direct Credit Card Payments. Our customers will now need to use an alternative card, such as Visa Debit, Visa Credit or a MasterCard. We are currently working with Paypal in order to integrate the 3-D Secure mandate for Maestro transactions to enable you to continue paying with your Maestro card, and we will notify you of this as soon as it becomes available. In the meantime, to avoid interruption and disappointment, please use an alternative card.
Please Note: Payments through Express Checkout remain unaffected.
Amex Card Payments We have also unfortunately had a few disappointed customers this month, disappointed not because of the quality of our goods, but with the fact that they were unable to complete their orders using Amex cards. We were very sorry to hear this and investigated it further with Paypal only to be told that Amex cards will only process if they have been issued by Amex Brighton. Paypal is planning to expand this service to all Amex cards over the coming months and you will receive notification from us, on this becoming available.
Happy Stellina Baby shopping!
Stella xxx
