I have been talking on the phone with a friend, who is a fashion journalist, for the past half an hour, discussing the difference between luxury and fashion, between quality and disposable trends.
I am sure that you will all be wondering about how this concept does apply to baby cashmere clothes, and on how a company like Stellina baby can really be concerned over 'grown up' issues like fashion and luxury!
 Well, since setting up the business, Alistair and I have painstakingly tried to build a range that would be practical, luxurious and above all, that customers would love as much as we do... and, almost unconsciously, we found ourselves balancing over and over again in our collection a fashion forward vision, alongside a real love for craftsmanship and detail.
In a nutshell, we really wanted to apply to Stellina baby - from the word 'start' - concepts that established luxury brands live by, day by day.
Our cashmere selection is superb and our uniqueness is our amazing relationship with our factories, which allows us to maintain our costs to a minimum and pass the savings that we make to our customers.
Bearing this in mind, we are once again proud to only use the best Italian yarn and this is something I feel I will never stress enough (boring, I know, but it is a 'small' element not to be forgotten!).
It is the yarn selection, the way the factories work the garments, wash them and finish them that makes our products so luxurious... It is a labour of love from the moment the pencil touches the paper to the time we spend packaging your purchases and send them out to you.

 I am obsessed by dresses. I really am. It is all I wear, it is what I LOVE!
So, my selection for Christmas for all the little princesses out there, is the Panna Dress. It is so simple, yet spot on trend, and the cream colour shouts sheer luxury!
It has a little Peter Pan Collar, slightly puffed sleeves, a fine belt that ties at the back in a little bow.
It looks gorgeous with plain grey tights and little sheepskin boots. It can be dressed up with our Violetta Button Cardigan or with our bright Lampone ballet wraps - divine!
 For our little pirates, the Anice is the most versatile little jumper. Crew Neck, with button opening to make it uber practical, it is the must have for the holidays. We love the contrast border at the neck, sleeves and hem - paired with jeans or cord trousers, it is a smart but fun option!
