40/30 Challenge Update
November, 2009
Vision
Spartanburg will be the best educated county in South Carolina.
Progress Update
We are pleased to announce that the Steering Committee is meeting in December to finalize the 40/30 Challenge Strategic Plan. The Strategic Plan will reflect the input from the Yellow Wood retreat, the ten recommendations from the Task Force on College Attainment, and the collective work of the Action Teams.

As this initiative is shared with the Spartanburg community, we must all work hard to promote, assist, and guide its implementation. We look forward to sharing more details with you at an event in January.  Please stay tuned for details!
Thank you for your Contributions

During this Thanksgiving season, we pause for a moment to express gratitude to each individual who has worked diligently over the past year to formulate our community's path forward in achieving our vision of becoming the best educated county in South Carolina.

Thank You Yellow Wood Retreat Participants
