They also completed spay and neuter applications for 22 new pets this month. As always, thank you to the community for your continued support. Rico Reyes

Rico Reyes

Rico Reyes is one Rico Suave! Just under three years, Rico has a gorgeous, cream coat and black saddle. Rico was turned over because his family had no time for him. He was kept outside one hundred percent of the time and chained from time to time. German Shepherds are very smart, active, and need to feel like part of your family pack. That's just what Rico needs - a new family pack with nothing but time to love and care for him. So if you're looking for a friend to keep you company, (maybe a jogging partner or a pet for an active family) look no further.... Rico Reyes can be all yours today!!

Cha-Cha

Cha-Cha

This midnight black beauty is Cha-Cha. She's a four to five month old Chow-Chow mix. Cha-Cha was saved by one of our animal control officers who found her running down the busy street of Avenue B here in Yuma. Cha-Cha has not yet had her visit to our clinic yet but she will soon. All of our animals' adoption fees include the spay/neuter, microchipping of our dogs (cats can be chipped on request for an additional $5) It also covers the vaccines they've received while in our care including the rabies vaccination and a 5 lb; bag of Hill's Science Diet food. So, it's a great deal. Please visit our shelter and maybe even adopt Cha-Cha today, she will definitely make a great best friend.

Groucho

Grouncho

Groucho is not a Grouch.  He's a dashing, handsome young man whose loving, human companion passed away.  Family members could not keep Groucho due to allergies and so they brought him to us where he has been for the last two months and so Groucho needs a home.  He's nine months old and has been neutered.

Smuckers goes to camp

Smuckers goes to camp

Smuckers love the ladies. Here he is at this week's Be Humane summer camp. He is a young shepherd put mix who enjoys kids and other dogs and is learning basic commands like sit. He will be a large dog, so his family will want to continue to teach him commands but he seems to be a fast learner and is fairly low key for a puppy. He can meet potential forever families at the shelter location.
