Foster parents needed
Kittens

It's that time of year again. Kitten season is here and we need foster parents. These little campers just came in today. Anyone interested in becoming a foster parent, please email Barbara Henderson at bhenderson@hsoyuma.com.

March surgery numbers
The spay and neuter clinic performed a total of 476 operations in the month of March.  218 shelter pets and 258 low cost and feral cats.  The numbers are even more impressive when coupled with the fact that March, being the last month of licensing season, is a very busy month for our staff in general and our clinic staff in particular.
Reggae Fest to benefit HSOY
Top of the CressWhat's better than a Reggae Fest? A Reggae Fest put on for the benefit of the Humane Society of Yuma? So come downtown on April 20th to the Top of the Kress.

It's a free concert but guests are highly encouraged to bring donations of cat litter or other items on our wishlist.  It begins at 7:30pm and goes on until close.

Roamy
RoamyRoamy is one fine little girl She's a Queensland Heeler mix. Roamy got her name from the fact that she was found roaming the streets of Yuma.  With no owners to reclaim her, she is now one of our fabulous shelter pets that need a new home and family. Roamy is maybe around 2 years or so. She has been spayed, micro chipped, has current vaccines including her rabies shot. Roamy is a great girl in every way.  She attended the Be Humane Walk at Alyce Byrne Elementary with staff and they all had nothing but good things to say about her. Roamy walks fantastic on a leash, she's mellow, relaxed, and really enjoyed the company of kids. Roamy also knows how to sit and shake! Roamy is one sweet dog who has been sitting in our shelter too long.  It will be one month this Friday. So please head down to our shelter today and ADOPT this wonderful girl it will be the best thing for Roamy and even better for the lucky family that takes her in!
