Meet Gracie

Gracie

Gracie is a beautiful 2 year old female boxer mix that arrived at our shelter as a stray.  She was picked up by Ed Whiteheads on 3E, and was luckily saved from entering the busy traffic.  As traumatic as her entry to our shelter was, you would never guess it by her loving disposition.  Gracie is as sweet as they come, and does excellent with children, and other dogs.  She walks like a charm on the leash and is always willing to greet anyone with a big wet KISS!  Gracie will be available for adoption at our shelter on Thursday at 11 am.  So if you are looking for a great addition to your family, swing by and pick her up.  She'll be ready to greet you with her boxer kisses!

Meet Miss Talk-a-Lot

Serena Miss Talks a lot

Serena is a loving two-year-old domestic medium hair. She loves to meow all day for love and attention, which has earned her the name Ms. Talks-a-lot! She is a gray tiger striped tabby and enjoys having her neck scratched and body rubs. Serena will be spayed once adopted and she is at the humane society waiting for you to give her your forever home!

Adoption success story: Beauregard

Editor's note: There's no such thing as too many adoption success stories.  Fortunately for us, Linda, our Adoption Supervisor, receives quite a few.

Linda,

In response to your recent inquiry I have attached a photo of our most recent family addition - Beauregard, our Bengal cat. He is a pistol! Full of mischief, but not a mean bone in his body. This photBearegaardo was taken in December. He weighs 10 lbs now -and still growing. He is friendly, loving and follows us everywhere - loves water.

Over the years we have had a Burmese, Russian Blue, Scottish Fold, and Siamese, but Beau is the most spectacular cat who has ever owned us! His coat is like a wild animal pelt. It feels like mink. His coloring is beyond description! How he ever stayed in your facility for two months without someone adopting him is a mystery. We are so glad he waited for us!

Thanks for your inquiry.
