Survive and thrive: achieve and sustain success by moving to the world's top business and quality management practices

The adoption of world-class quality standards such as ISO 9001 is a growth area and third sector organisations need to show that they work to the highest standards and provide efficient, value for money services.

In recent years the move towards a contract culture has increased the need to be accountable to funders and gain an edge in competitive tendering processes.  In turn this has led to an increase in the take-up of the world's top quality standards.

Two identical FREE awareness sessions are being held at Community Action to:

  • Introduce the main aspects of ISO 9001, the top standard for quality;
  • Demonstrate modern techniques for sustaining excellence, allied to 9001; and
  • Show uncomplicated ways in which the voluntary and public sectors can use these techniques

Date and Time:       Thursday 6 October              10:00 am to 1:00 pm

                                    Wednesday 19 October       10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Venue:                      Community Action

                                    4 Charnwood Street, Derby DE1 2GT

Cost:                          FREE

A buffet lunch will be provided during each session.  For more information or to book a place email Liz Gumbley or call 01332 227738.
